Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director who is famous for his role as the lead of Birdman. As a versatile actor, he is able to perform comedy and dramatic characters. He also has played a few romantic characters and played in numerous action films during his professional career. When he was a teenager He began to be interested in acting and performing. As young adults, he experimented with stand-up comedy. While his stand-up comedy venture didn't go well but it laid the groundwork for his career as an actor. In order to be successful as a comic, he got a job working as a cameraman for an local cable television station. The job at the station is where he realized the only thing he really wanted was to perform on camera. After a couple of episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he could land the role on TV. The natural talents of the actor made him popular in TV. He embarked on an acting career in film with huge goals and gained a lot of fame through his comedic characters. Additional recognition was received as he played Batman's own character in Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed, he grew as an actor, and began to work in direction and production. He won numerous awards and nominations for his performance in the 2014 film Birdman.
